The Standard Specifications are in American Public Works Association (APWA) format and are divided into two main parts. The first, Division 1, is the basis of our construction contracts. Division 1 contains general requirements, and defines how contracts will be executed, how payments will be made, and how disputes will be resolved. Divisions 2 through 9 are technical specifications and set criteria to be followed during construction.

The Standard Specifications are coordinated with the Standard Plans.
